TOE BOARD COUPLER (BOARD RETAINING COUPLER/BRC CLAMP)

A Toe Board Coupler is used to retain Timber Scaffold Boards of planks with thickness ranging from 35 mm to 38 mm. This ensures that scaffold boards are held tightly in position as load is being applied on it. It works by being installed on a Intermediate Transom or Ledger under the Timber Scaffold Boards.

SWIVEL COUPLER (ADJUSTABLE COUPLER/FLEXIBLE COUPLER)

A Swivel Coupler joins steel tubes with Outer Diameter of 48 mm. Each half of the coupler is interconnected with a swivel pin. It is typically used with Scaffolding Tubes to connect bracing members and are also used for tension splicing of scaffolds tubes. It consists of replaceable 'T' bolts, nuts and washers. This type of coupler is available in Drop Forged and Pressed Sheet Metal. The Drop Forged couplers are EN74 Class A tested and have a minimum Safe Working Load of 5.30 kN.

DOUBLE COUPLER (RIGHT ANGLE COUPLER/LOAD BEARING COUPLER/FIXED COUPLER)

A Double Coupler joins steel tubes with Outer Diameter of 48 mm, strictly at right angles. It is typically used with Scaffolding Tubes to connect bracing members, but more especially it is the core component of the Tube & Coupler System. It consists of replaceable 'T' bolts, nuts and washers. This type of coupler is available in Drop Forged and Pressed Sheet Metal. The Drop Forged couplers are EN74 Class A tested and have a minimum Safe Working Load of 6.25kN.

GIRDER COUPLER (GRAVE LOCK COUPLER/BEAM CLAMP)

A Girder Coupler is used for connecting a scaffold tube to a steel wide-flange beam (I-beam). Girder couplers are used in pairs and connected along a single scaffolding tube on both sides of the beam. The tube supported is 48 mm outer diameter and the depth of beam supported is 43 mm (1¾"). It is available in two types drop forged and pressed sheet metal.

SCAFFOLDING TUBE

A Scaffolding Tube is the core component of the conventional Tube & Coupler scaffolding system. It is made of High Quality Steel in compliance with EN 10219 & BS 1139. It is 6000mm in length and has an Outer Diameter of 48 mm along with a Wall Thickness of 3.2 mm. These tubes can also be used to brace erected scaf folds such as tower s , suppor t formwork structures and more. For this application they need to be used with AKRCOUPLERS. They can be purchased and cut on site as per specific need or can be requested to be pre-cut in the factory as per request.
